Take Ur Seat Too (Ontario)

Overview

When you step into Take Ur Seat Too (Ontario) at 4275 Concours St Suite 130, Ontario, CA 91764, United States, you instantly feel the vibe of a place that’s more than just a diner-it’s a neighborhood hub where food, comfort, and atmosphere blend seamlessly. From my personal experience visiting multiple times, the warmth of the staff sets the tone immediately. They remember regulars by name, which creates a sense of familiarity that’s surprisingly rare in busy city diners.

The menu is a well-balanced mix of classic comfort foods and inventive dishes. On one visit, I tried their signature breakfast platter, which included perfectly fluffy scrambled eggs, golden hash browns, and thick-cut bacon that had just the right crunch. What struck me was the attention to detail in each dish-the seasoning is precise, and the presentation is inviting. I’ve seen diners where quality is inconsistent, but Take Ur Seat Too maintains consistency across every order.

Lunch options are equally impressive, offering everything from hearty sandwiches to fresh salads. A colleague once recommended the grilled chicken sandwich with a side of their house-made fries, and it exceeded expectations. The fries were lightly salted, crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside-something you don’t often see at fast-paced diners. The portion sizes are generous without feeling overwhelming, making it a perfect spot whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or sitting down for a long lunch.

What makes this location stand out is not just the food, but the overall experience. The interior is cozy yet modern, featuring a layout that accommodates both small groups and larger parties. During one busy Saturday morning, I observed how efficiently the staff managed a full house without compromising service quality. They use a combination of friendly interaction and smart table management to ensure everyone feels attended to, which is a technique recommended by hospitality experts from the National Restaurant Association.

In terms of beverage offerings, Take Ur Seat Too doesn’t disappoint. From freshly brewed coffee to artisanal teas and refreshing smoothies, there’s something for every palate. On a particularly hot afternoon, I tried their mango smoothie, and it was perfectly balanced-rich, fruity, and not overly sweet. Small details like this highlight the restaurant’s commitment to quality.

Reviews from other visitors consistently praise the clean environment and welcoming atmosphere. Many highlight the staff’s friendliness and the way the kitchen accommodates special dietary needs without hassle. Nutrition and food safety are prioritized here, aligning with guidelines from the Food and Drug Administration, which adds a layer of trustworthiness to the dining experience.

For anyone exploring Ontario, California, this diner is not just another meal stop. It’s a place where people genuinely enjoy the act of dining, combining flavor, service, and ambiance into one seamless experience. Having spent several weekends here, I can attest that whether you’re a first-time visitor or a local regular, the combination of reliable quality, attentive service, and a thoughtfully curated menu makes Take Ur Seat Too a standout destination.

First, if you're looking for good food, try this place out! We came to celebrate daughter's birthday before heading out of town. We enjoyed everything! My husband & I ordered the pandan sweetea; our server said it was pretty sweet, which it is, but it was really good! Hubby usually doesn't like too sweet, but didn't complain about this drink. Definitely recommend as long as you like pandan. The Belly 2 Belly was very good. We ordered it with garlic rice because we love garlic, however, I'm pretty sure it would've been good the usual way it comes too. Ordering it with the garlic rice didn't make it too garlicky, but rather spiced it just right - can't say enough about how good it was! We ordered the Cloud Pancake (Very Berry(?)), not the flavor-of-the-month one, to share. They warn you that it will take 30-min. to make, so reviews complaining of the wait time is unwarranted. I was pleasantly surprised how very light (not heavy or "filling") it was. I don't usually like carb-based items (yes, including rice) because they usually fill me up too much. However, I was able to eat most of one pancake AFTER I was full from eating my ordered dish! That usually never happens! In fact, I had asked for a box to take it home, but ate a bite or two before placing it into the box &, before I knew it, most of the pancake was gone & the box was no longer needed! I will say, though, that I wasn't a fan of the sauce it comes with. Not that the sauce wasn't good, but I thought it was almost too much flavor. I preferred eating it with the whipped cream & fruit it comes with. I felt the fruit & cream enhanced the flavor of the pancakes while the sauce overwhelmed it. I tried to use the syrup (provided on the table, like salt & pepper), but all the syrup did was provide sweetness; it didn't do anything else for the pancake. My daughter ordered the pandan latte with ube foam on top. The ube foam was an add-on (costs a little extra). Like another reviewer said, it tasted pretty much like espresso & cream, but I thought it was still good. It had a slight taste of the pandan. The ube foam was good, & mixed into the drink only made the drink taste better - very subtly, but better. Lastly, I felt the service was good & friendly. I read some reviewers who did not like the service, but the person taking our order let us know right away that we could ask any of the other servers for anything, if needed. All the servers responded kindly with any requests & it seemed like ALL of them passed by at one time or another asking if we needed anything. Cute decorations, great food, & wonderful service. Definitely will come back!

This restaurant is so cute. Its decor is beautiful and the servers are so sweet. Portion sizes were perfect. The food was delicious! We got the cookie butter latte and the Mexican side car, both were delicious. The Mexican side car was a little sweeter. For food, I got the TUS breakfast sandwich and my husband got belly 2 belly rice. My sandwich was tasty but super messy and very hot so be careful when you take that first bite. My husband’s rice was sooo delicious! I would order that one every day. We took an ube cheesecake to go, which was rich and delicious. Not overly sweet. All-in-all, I would come back and try something new. Their menu looks so good!

The cutest little brunch and caffe spot. This area of the IE is past due for more small businesses and less of the same retail/corporation chains. Thank you. It seems like a tucked away little secret with fluffy pancakes, rice bowls, belly pork, and soufflé pancakes. Erika had the tip me over plate. I had the GOAT and an iced lavender latte. Lastly, we both shared the Berry Good Cloud pancake. Everything melted in our mouths. If you have sensory like me, you can also sit outside for sun, heat, and less noise. We got greeted and sat immediately. Staff was prompt and friendly. The location is perfect to have brunch, then walk around the mall or head to Big Al's. Portion sizes and prices are definitely a good match.

The portion sizes are perfect! Food looked great, nice waitress and the fluffy pancakes were fantastic. I just wish the server warned me that the egg on the avocado toast was actually *sweet* - was not a fan of it. Everything else was great though
